Contents and Form of Publication

With the new book series Mahler Dimensions, the International Gustav Mahler Society and the Gustav Mahler Research Centre Toblach are presenting a new joint series of publications in which current research trends on Gustav Mahler, his work, its reception and interpretation, his era and his contemporaries are discussed. The series contains peer-reviewed publications (double-blind peer review), which are published digitally in open access and at the same time in a limited printed edition. The name New Library of the International Gustav Mahler Societyand the Gustav Mahler Research Centre Toblach follows on from the Bibliothek der Internationalen Gustav Mahler Gesellschaft, in which a total of six volumes were published by the International Gustav Mahler Society between 1978 and 2014 (with various publishers).

The contents of a volume within the series can be in German or English; mixed languages (German/English) are also possible for anthologies.

The Mahler Dimensions are based on the guidelines of open access according to the Berlin Declaration of March 22, 2003.

All digital contributions to the Mahler Dimensions series are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY) (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0).
