The Mahler Dimensions book series is a joint publication project between the International Gustav Mahler Society and the Gustav Mahler Research Centre Toblach. The series examines current trends in research on Gustav Mahler, encompassing his era and his contemporaries, as well as the reception and interpretation of his work. Comprised exclusively of double-blind, peer-reviewed volumes, this series is digitally released by the Vienna-based publisher Hollitzer under Open Access and simultaneously in a limited print edition. The digital format in particular facilitates the integration of audio and video examples, reference to databases and other digital source formats, and the linking of digitally available literature. The name New Library of the International Gustav Mahler Society and the Gustav Mahler Research Centre Toblach follows on from the series Library of the International Gustav Mahler Society, in which a total of six volumes were released by various publishers between 1978 and 2014. The first volume of the series is published in 2026.
