With the new book series Mahler Dimensions, the International Gustav Mahler Society and the Gustav Mahler Research Centre Toblach are presenting a new joint publication project in which current research trends on Gustav Mahler, his work, its reception and interpretation, his era and his contemporaryies will be explored. The series contains peer-reviewed publications exclusively (double-blind peer review),  published digitally in open access and at the same time in a limited print edition by the Viennese publisher Hollitzer. The digital format allows, in particular, the integration of audio and video examples, the reference to databases and other digital source formats, and the linking of digitally available literature. The name New Library of the International Gustav Mahler Society and the Gustav Mahler Research Center Toblach follows on from the series Library of the International Gustav Mahler Society, in which a total of six volumes were published between 1978 and 2014 (by various publishers). The first volume will be published in 2025.
