After the formal completion of the project in August 2024, the metadata collected were standardized and corrected, and the digitized material and metadata were archived for the long term by ARCHE (A Resource Centre for the HumanitiEs) at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) (https://id.acdh.oeaw.ac.at/gustavmahlerarchiv). After extensive editorial work, the corrected holdings were made available on Kulturpool on October 20, 2025. All 204 musical sources (signature groups L1, L17, and N, totaling 32,728 pages) and 1,586 program booklets from the period 1882 to 2019 (totaling 24,200 pages) can now be found here in a user-friendly format. The IGMS collection can be found at https://kulturpool.at/institutionen/igms. The metadata corresponds to that in the IGMS's online catalog. During the past year, in addition to the follow-up work on the “Kulturerbe digital” project, IGMS employee Julia Lenart also cataloged and partially digitized extensive additional holdings, including further program booklets, metadata for all LPs and audio tapes, LP covers, selected audio recordings, and first parts of the image archive. In addition, a complete list of books and book contributions in the IGMS library was made available. The Society hopes that future funding will enable it to complete the cataloging of these holdings and make them also available for long-term archiving and publication on Kulturpool.
