The definitive listing of Mahler's concert programs was for many years Knud Martner's out-of-print and hard-to-get German book "Gustav Mahler im Konzertsaal" (1985). Fortunately, the Kaplan Foundation plans to publish Martner's second edition of this reference work in the fall of 2010, revised and expanded. This new edition, in English, will be entitled "Mahler's Concerts" and will contain historical notes for each concert, listings of opus numbers, keys and soloists, names of orchestras and halls, references to reviews, printed programs, and listings for concerts which Mahler accompanied at the piano. .
