Built in the spring of 1894. After Mahler's time, used as laundry room, slaughterhouse and campground washroom. Nearly demolished in 1980.
Memorial tablet placed 1959, declared a National Memorial in 1980, then moved slightly and renovated. Reopened as a Mahler Memorial on May 4, 1985.
Located in a campground and open to the public year-round.
